Pre-requisites for XTP Certification

*  Pilates proficiency at an intermediate level (minimum), and at least 25 classes or privates by a certified instructor,                preferably on both mat and reformer.

*  Mat Certification from a reputable Pilates Training Facility

*  Reformer Certification

*  Trainee should have a basic working knowledge of anatomy

*  Completed application

*  Tuition deposit

*  Signed Student Agreement (day 1 of class)

*  Medical and liability release form (provided)


Course Requirements for Full Curriculum

96 Contact Hours with a XTP Master Trainer (provided)

(classroom hours)

65 hours of Documented Self Integration of Practical Lesson Studies

(This is your own practice time to work on your Lessons.  Includes taking outside classes).

  *  25 hours mat

  *  30 hours reformer

  *  10 Hours XTP Format

35 hours of Observation

(Observation of classes/ privates at XTP or other Pilates faciilities)

  * 10 hours mat

  * 15 hours reformer

  * 10 hours XTP format

25 Hours Apprenticeship

(Trainee will assist Master Trainer or qualified PMA instructor in XTP Group Classs format)

  *  10 Hours of Active Client Teaching (observed by Julie Bond Rhyne)

  *  5 private sessions

  *  5 group classes

Completion of all Lab and Homework Assignments

Passing grade on all Exams

Total: 196 Hours
